A: Hi, the S3900-48T4S is a managed switch. If you do not program it, you can use it directly as a non-managed switch. All ports are VLAN1 by default.
Q: Can the S3900-48T4S be connected with the S8050-20Q4C through 4x10GB trunk cables?
A: The 40G Ports of the S8050-20Q4C switch can be broke out into 4 x 10G. The S3900-48T4S can be connected with the S8050-20Q4C using the 40G QSFP+ to 4 x 10G SFP+ cables.
